The Plough has been at the heart of Scalby village since 1899 and has recently undergone a major refurbishment, transforming the building inside and out.

|Local Directions:||From Scarborough Follow the A64 into Scarborough then the A171 towards Whitby. Follow the road and you will pass the hospital on your left, continue along the A171 into Newby and then Scalby. As you enter Scalby village over the bridge take the second left turn onto High Street, we are 85 yards on the left hand side. From Whitby Head along the A171 towards Scarborough once you reach Scalby village, take your third right hand turn onto High Street, we are 100 yards on the left hand side.|
