The menu at this smartly refurbished 17th century coaching inn does what it says on the tin; a steak and fish house serving slabs of protien cooked over charcoal. So what's the big deal? Well, there's the fact that nearby Clinger Farm supplies the restaurant with fresh produce, including their own cider. Their are the most amazing steaks that are served with a choice of seed mustard sauce, caper butter or roasted garlic sauce. And there's award winning chef Ben Abercrombie at the stove to ensure there's plenty of delicious options such as a starter of Devon crab crostini or braised lamb shoulder main course for diners who want something a little bit different. The good value wine list offers lots of choice by the glass.
