We sampled the Mulberry's wares at the weekend and were not disappointed. The staff were welcoming and professional, the food interesting and full of flavour and the price fair. Seemed strange to see Lenham snails on the menu (watch out french escargots!) but they came with a wonderful sauce and were very tasty. I personally was not sure the brill and cockle vinaigrette was a match made in heaven but the brill was cooked to perfection, as was my husband's lamb and sister's skate. The sharing desserts were gorgeous and the baked yoghurt with strawberries was gorgeous. Some of us felt that the Alsace Reisling we were offered instead of the wine we had chosen was very mediocre, bordering on the unpleasant, but maybe that was down to personal taste. All in all, we had a great evening in very pleasant surroundings and would certainly go again.
