Perched on top of Pembrokeshire’s striking cliffs, food is served by candlelight in the dining room and on the terrace with views of sea and 20 acres of natural gardens. The family owners cook unpretentious, homemade meals using fresh ingredients sourced mainly from local suppliers. A blend of hippy chic and local tradition is reflected in the broadly international menu. Antipasti and Thai yellow soup make appearances alongside the more traditional Welsh lamb stuffed with apricot and rosemary with black pudding mash and beer battered hake fillet with lemon mayonnaise; vegetarians are also well catered for. A brief wine list mostly comes in at under £20.
