The Captain’s Galley has its home in Scrabster harbour and perhaps unsurprisingly given its location and proximity to the fish market – seafood is Captain’s Galley speciality. The restaurant is committed to sourcing high quality seasonal produce from within a 50 mile radius of the restaurant and will only use fish caught in sea areas of Scotland where the stocks are sustainable. The menu changes daily but offers around 20 different species of seafood each night including the likes of fillet of rod caught mackerel with garden leaves, gooseberry and elderflower dressing or local crab with daikon salad and jalapeno dressing with hand dived scallops with wild mushrooms, crispy chorizo, creamed sweet corn and red wine sauce for main course. Meat and vegetarians options are also available.
