Located on the east coast of Jersey, Sumas offers Casual fine dining in a contemporary setting. The dining room is light and airy, with white stone walls, whitewashed wood framed mirrors and crisp white linen contrasting the blue chairs. French windows open onto the spectacular sun terrace with breath-taking views of the Gorey Harbour and neighbouring 13th Century Mont Orgueil Castle. The menu is a mix of modern British dishes prepared with fresh local and seasonal produce like pan fried fillet of Plaice, wilted greens, local Mussels, fresh broad beans & peas and Break to Gressingham duck, Jersey royals, caramelised orange, baby ffennel, red wine sauce. Sumas is open for breakfast at the weekend serving everything from eggs benedict and brioche French toast to soft boiled egg with soldiers for the kids.
