This busy neighbourhood restaurant offers accomplished cuisine a 20 minutes taxi ride from the centre of the city. The exposed brickwork and modern pale wood furniture combines with the sparkling glass, white napery and fresh flowers to create a cool contemporary ambiance. Award winning chef Matt Locke, whose brother Adam is co-proprietor, oversees an eclectic cuisine with a combination of modern British and European influences. The kitchen uses regional British ingredients to make homemade products such as their own black pudding that may appear in a dish such as roasted diver's scallops with crispy black pudding, cauliflower puree and red wine sauce. Desserts include glazed lemon tart with marinated raspberries. The well-constructed wine list provides a large selection from the New and Old Worlds.
