Llys Meddyg’s owners have brought something of the metropolitan cool to sleepy west Wales. Llys Meddyg is a boutique restaurant with rooms sitting neatly between the Pembrokeshire mountains and coast. There are three dining areas: the garden room and cellar bar offer warming fare such as bouillabaisse of local fish, crusty bread and aioli or confit Glas Pant pork belly, sauté potatoes and crab apple puree. The more formal dining room has a refined menu showcasing the likes of whole roast quail, Carnigli shitakes, leeks, arancini and fried quails egg. Llys Meddyg’s town and country theme is reflected in the décor, with local slate, natural wooden furniture and sea grass flooring combining with polished Georgian touches to create an understated elegance.
