Large circular mirrors placed around the room reflect the elegance of this Kensington restaurant. Dove grey banquettes, muted walls and soft lighting provide a soothing ambience. With roots in French cuisine (executive chef is Phillip Howard of The Square) the menu seeks to exemplify the finest of British ingredients. You may find organic salmon rillette with watercress mousse and minted jersey royals among the starters perhaps with roast rump of West Country lamb with boulangere potatoes, peas and broad beans nestled in the main course selection. A velvety creme Catalan with cinnamon doughnuts and crushed apple could entice you for dessert. Around 20 wines offered by the glass or small carafe and on Sunday evenings you can bring your own wine without any corkage fee.
