Indian Zest

Chef proprietor, Manoj Vasalkar, has created an impressive venue in which to enjoy modern, regional Indian cuisine. The interior is light and airy with polished wood floors, wicker chairs and white napery. The dark wood bar, together with the Indian artefacts and polo memorabilia, create a relaxed, yet refined, club atmosphere. The kitchen uses traditional ingredients with fresh herbs and spices to create authentic contemporary dishes. Starters might include a kharphatla of warm jumbo prawns and aubergine with a caramelised onion, tomato and pickle masala whilst lobster balcho or Barbary duck Chettinad are amongst the classic main courses. There is an extensive wine list as well as traditional non alcoholic sweet or salted Lassi.
