A smart and sensitive restoration to its former Georgian glory includes a styled restaurant with minimalist interiors that let the period features and spectacular Shropshire views take centre stage. Modern white table settings showcase David Jaram’s original and well conceived dishes. Where possible, he uses ingredients sourced from local producers in the Shropshire Marches to create his own interpretations of classic texture and flavour combinations. Chose from the Taste of the Marshes menu with selected wines or go it alone with a la carte dishes such as seared scallops, black pudding, Jerusalem artichoke and lemon and Mortimer Forest saddle of venison, salsify, beetroot puree and damson jus.
