Sutherland Restaurant at Cringletie House

The award-winning, 3 Rosette, Sutherland Restaurant is located on the first floor of Cringletie’s imposing baronial mansion. The strikingly grand dining room features a magnificent fireplace and hand painted ceiling under which chef, Patrick Bardoulet, serves elegant, French inspired cuisine with a modern twist. A variety of menus are available including an excellent value lunch menu, dinner menu and a wonderful gourmet tasting menu. Menus change with the seasons, using the finest local produce. We grow many ingredients in our own Victorian Walled Garden such as fruits, a large variety of herbs and carefully selected vegetables. On Sundays, this favourite Peebles restaurant is also open for our popular, traditional lunch and Afternoon Teas every day between 3 and 5pm. Our philosophy is to bring to your table the very best of modern cuisine, prepared with Scottish produce and dishes with real flavour for you to enjoy in a spectacular setting.
