An Albert Roux restaurant set in a luxury, boutique hotel in Inverness that offers good, honest country cooking using Scottish ingredients and a little French flair. The decor is modern and fresh, with stripped back wood and bold colour scheme, and glass wall affording views of River Ness. There is a great a la carte menu for pushing the boat out, however, if you want a taster of what Rocpool can offer try the RouXpress menu, a collection of four smaller courses all served together, ideal when time is of the essence, at a very reasonable price. An example of a RouXpress menu would be homemade soup of the day, smoked mackerel paste with melba toast, roast salmon with Aberlour and orange jus and clootie dumpling parfait.
