Chapters All Day Dining

Chapters brings a dose of West End glamour to upmarket Blackheath village with a chic interior that features green olive banquets, dark wood furniture, natural stone floor, exposed brickwork and a zinc bar. But the accent is firmly on casual dining here. The outdoor pavement seating area is just the place to read the papers over a breakfast of pancakes with bacon and maple syrup while the afternoon menu includes lighter bites such as toasted chicken, mozzarella and tomato panini. The big draw here are the steaks, chops and burgers cooked on the charcoal-fired Jopser grill, but there's plenty of delicious alternatives for the not so carnivorous such as pan fried sea bream, candied lemon, spiced cous cous, rose harissa and almonds.
