Ode is a small neighbourhood restaurant with its heart in the right place. A charming dining room that's been designed using reclaimed and sustainable materials, you can dine here with a clear eco-conscious. Chef and owner Tim Bouget's career has taken him around the world so its no surprise that his regional, seasonal menu has a global accent. Mackerel fillet from nearby Lyme Bay gets a Sweet chilli and tamari (wheat-free soy sauce) glaze and is served with bean sprouts and pickled carrots, while seared line caught pollock comes with Indian-style black lentil dahl and a coconut and turmeric cream. You can even stay local and organic when it comes to wine with a bottle of Pebblebed Rose from Ebford Vineyard in Devon from the all organic/biodynamic wine list.
