Start with Breast of Wood Pigeon in Puff Pastry with spinach and Puy Lentils or a Hot Smoked Salmon Tian with Red Onion and Caper Relish followed by Loin of Venison, Pommes Dauphinoise, Red Cabbage and a Cassis Jus. Desserts such as Hot Chocolate Fondant with Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream or Raspberry Creme Brulee with Honeycomb Ice Cream fall into the wickedly indulgent category. There’s good value to be found on the wine list that features a number of bottles under £20.
