Tabb's Restaurant

In 2005, Nigel and Melaine Tabb relocated their fifteen year old establishment from Portreath to this former pub. Now the smartly appointed thirty seat dining room is a culinary beacon for gourmets. Peruse the menu over drinks in the cosy bar before taking a seat in the lilac painted dining room. The menu calls on influences across the globe. There’s a Mediterranean feel to starters of grilled filleted fresh red mullet, mixed leaves, garlic and basil oil and Provencale fish soup with chilli relish and basil oil, and a hint of Asia in a main of pan-fried calves liver with bok choi, ginger, spring onions and chilli. Nigel Tabb is well known for his skills as a chocolatier, so the dark chocolate marquise with white chocolate ice cream is a must.
