This was our 6th or 7th visit to the pine trees, many of the other guests we spoke to were returning guests. The hotel is wonderful. Fabulous food, game and fish are specialities. I particularly love the breakfasts, great variety, today I had the smoked haddock and poached egg which was cooked to perfection. There is a good selection of wine and beer very reasonably priced. The staff are excellent and attentive and I see many of the same faces year after year which is always a good sign. The lounges are comfy as are the rooms. They are dog friendly and we always took our beloved pet here, he was always well looked after. If you want peace, quiet, great food and lovely staff I would thoroughly recommend the Pine Trees. Dog friendly with lovely grounds for exercising. Also, dogs are allowed in the bedroom. Very comfortable and relaxing. Made to feel welcome- lots of games for rainy days. Food delicious - really spoilt. A great place to stay, surrounded by such beautiful countryside. ChristineB

We had visited this hotel 7 years ago and everything was excellent. This visit we were really looking forward to and it certainly did not disappoint. Food was excellent and the dinner menu, so many choices and not the same every night. Fantastic. BerylM
