Scotland Street School, Museum of Education

Scotland Street School, Museum of Education was built in the early 1900s, the building was designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The collections relate to education in Scotland from 1872 to the present day and include furniture, books, photographs, documents, toys and costumes. Three reconstructed period classrooms show the changing face of school rooms from the Victorian era to the 1960s. This unique experience is Scotland“s only Museum of Education.
