Talbot Rice Gallery
The Talbot Rice Gallery is the public art gallery of The University of Edinburgh. Established in 1975, it is named after David Talbot Rice, Professor of Fine Art (1934-1972). Talbot Rice Gallery is one of Scotland“s leading public galleries of contemporary visual art. Rooted in an academic situation, the gallery plays a key role in the cultural life of the city, drawing a local, national and international audience to a dynamic programme of exhibitions and events. The White Gallery has a commitment to presenting the work of contemporary Scottish and International artists through solo, retrospective, and thematic exhibitions.
