Hull University Art Collection
This small outstanding University of Hull Art Collection specialises in paintings, sculpture, drawings and prints produced in Britain between 1890 and 1940. Included are works by Beardsley, Sickert, Steer, Lucien Pissarro, John, Spencer, Wyndham Lewis and Ben Nicholson, with sculpture by Epstein, Gill, Gaudier-Brzeska and Moore. Also on display are two important collections of Chinese ceramics on long term loan from Dr and Mrs Peter Thompson covering the period c.618-1850. Regular temporary exhibitions are held here.
