Hove Museum & Art Gallery

Hove Museum & Art Gallery, housed in an impressive Victorian villa, re-opened in 2003 following major re-development works. The new galleries allow visitors to learn more about the permanent collections on display of craft, toy, film and fine art. One of the highlights is the Craft Collection of work by contemporary craftmakers and ceramics. The Museum also houses the National Toy Museum and Institute of Play Collection, which includes dolls houses, dolls and clockwork toys. The film gallery contains the Barnes Collection, a display which documents the history of the moving image.
