Williamson Art Gallery & Museum

Williamson Art Gallery & Museum is a large purpose-built art gallery, opened in 1928 housing the vast majority of Wirral´s collection of artistic and historical wonders. Permanent displays include Victorian oil paintings, Liverpool porcelain and Della Robbia pottery. Also on display are model ships, fine decorative arts and collections on local history and it is part of the Merseyside Embroidery Trail. Access to other parts of the collection by arrangement/appointment. Throughout the year there is a regular and ambitious exhibition programme.
