Kettle´s Yard
Kettle´s Yard is a house with a permanent collection that was founded by Jim Ede, once a curator at the Tate Gallery, and was intended as a `refuge of peace and order, of the visual arts and music´. Works of art on display include works by Ben and Winifred Nicholson, Christopher Wood, Alfred Wallis, Barbara Hepworth, Constantin Brancusi and Henri Gaudier-Brzeska, amongst others. The Gallery also has a changing programme of temporary exhibitions. There is a wide variety of events including free Friday Lunchtime Concerts, talks and workshops, please see our web site for a full list.
