Museum of St Albans

The Museum of St Albans tells the story of St Albans from the departure of the Romans to the present day. Find out how the town developed around a great medieval abbey from a market town to a modern commuter city with displays showing everyday life in Victorian times. Also on display is the Salaman collection of traditional and craft tools dating from 1700 to 1950 brought together by Raphael Salaman.
