Buckinghamshire County Museum & The Roald Dahl Children´s Gallery

Buckinghamshire County Museum & The Roald Dahl Children´s Gallery, houses displays that cover the diverse natural, social and cultural history of Buckinghamshire. In addition to curriculum based interactive exhibitions for children, there is a changing exhibition programme in the art gallery. The Roald Dahl Children´s Gallery has innovative touchable displays, where visitors can ride the Glass Elevator, or walk inside the Giant Peach. The walled garden not only provides a space for visitors to sit and relax but is also the ideal setting for the purpose-built display for the Cubitt car, made in Aylesbury in the 1920s and the only one on public display.
