Buckinghamshire Railway Centre: a working Steam Museum with one of the largest railway collections in the UK. Opening Easter to end of October, Steam Trains and the Miniature Railway run on Sundays, Bank Holidays and School Holiday Wednesdays. Varying facilities other days. Visitor Centre with Historic Exhibits, Gift Shop and Restaurant for hot & cold Refreshments. Large, modern Museum.
Two Travelling Post Office Vehicles tell the story of moving mail by rail and the local Great Train Robbery.

Annual Bus Rally – see the Centre’s large car park full of all types of buses from all eras, lovingly restored and showed off by their proud owners. Veteran Cycle Club of Great Britain in period costume will be showing and riding their beautiful antique machines. Southern Lego Train Club members will be building and running all kinds of Lego train layouts, inside the Rewley Road Visitor Centre.

Miniature Traction Engine Rally organised by the VAMES Miniature Railway, with ride-on traction engines all faithfully built smaller versions of the real thing. Some give rides and most disappear around lunchtime for a drive up to Quainton, where they will gather on the Village Green.

An incredible variety of beautifully restored vehicles will arrive at the railway centre after their annual Ridgeway Run. The vehicles will be displayed within the Centre - Vintage Buses and Taxis outside the old Station Building, Goods Lorries of all decades form the 1930s to 1980s, Tankers, flatbeds, and a nice selection of smaller Traders’ Vans. Several Tractors and a few Military Vehicles are also expected.
