Design Museum

The Design Museum, opened in 1989 as part of Terence Conran´s `village on Butler´s Wharf´ and is the world´s first museum of industrial design, fashion and architecture. Concerned as much with the future as the past, a changing exhibition programme captures the excitement and ingenuity of design´s evolution through the 20th and 21st centuries. All this is housed in a 1950s warehouse with views over the River Thames and Tower Bridge.
