Overview

Set within the medieval city of Salisbury, Fisherton Mill houses the South of England's largest independent Art Gallery. The Gallery exhibits work by leading artists, sculpture and furniture makers and the Gallery Shop displays glassworks, ceramics, textiles, metalworks, jewellery, homewares, gifts and cards. The popular award-winning Cafe is considered one of the best eateries in Salisbury. All the food is prepared by chef-proprietor Michael Fox, using fresh ingredients and the menu is exciting and modern! An easy walk from Salisbury Cathedral, Salisbury Market & very close to Salisbury railway station.

Reviews

Love this place. The creative atmosphere, the wide different choice of gifts for all ages and both sexes, friendly staff and open exhibition space. Not as expensive as looks and can find some real bargains - so pick things up and look at price tags! Artists often in residence upstairs and to top it all a great cafe for breakfast, lunch or just a cuppa with amazing cakes. Do not be put off by Fisherton Street itself which can look very messy. Go explore as you won't be disappointed.

Went to the cafe & had a coffee and cheese scone. The cheese scone was the best I have ever tasted. The shop itself takes ages to walk around as there is so much to see. I will be letting people know what a gem of a place this is.

Fisherton Mill isn't in the main tourist area but well worth searching out. It's an intriguing place of different arts and crafts. As you would expect, the bespoke pieces are not cheap but you are buying something unique

Superb cakes, lovely cup of tea and great surroundings. Some very interesting bits of artwork on display and for sale. All tucked away off the more worn-out end of Fisherton Street. Well worth a visit.

Love this place near the heart of this lovely little City. The food is always good, the staff courteous and helpful and the gifts and art work a bit different and always interesting
