Christmas shopping doesn't have to be a chore. Forget manically searching tourist-packed Oxford Street and manically fighting over the last shirt on the shelf. This year is all about retail therapy, finding the perfect city to suit your tastes and enjoying it! I have selected my top 10 cities for shopping in the UK. Whether you like seeking out one-of-a-kind finds from hidden boutiques, perusing quaint markets for handmade gifts or head straight for the high street, I have the perfect Christmas shopping weekend for you... Just add girlfriends or partner as required.
The Queensberry Hotel

The beautiful spa town of Bath is often overlooked when it comes to retail therapy, but it boasts six great shopping areas. Milsom Quarter offers some fantastic designer brands, whilst the Upper Town area hides an array of cute boutiques. SouthGate is the city's newest venture, housing 55 big names, whilst quirky, arty finds can be explored in the bohemian Artisan Quarter. Whatever your preference, The Queensbury hotel has 29 comfortable bedrooms radiating eighteenth-century character. It also has a fantastic restaurant, The Olive Tree, and a lovely bar which in summer opens out in to the elegant walled garden.
