The George Hotel & Brasserie is situated in the historic village of Buckden and has been for hundreds of years a resting place for travellers making their way between London and York along the old Great North Road. The George was bought in July 2003 by the Anne Furbank Group and completely refurbished to be changed into a modern brasserie, wine bar and twelve beautifully designed bedrooms, all individually characterized after their namesake of a famous ´George´. The Brasserie offers casual dining throughout the day, serving superbly prepared, modern British food with a twist.
