Discover the beautiful Standen House and Gardens

Standen is a family house built in the 1890s, a showpiece of the Arts & Crafts Movement designed by Philip Webb and decorated throughout with original William Morris carpets, fabrics and wallpapers. On display are contemporary paintings, tapestries, furniture and many of the original light fittings in a 1920's style. The terraced garden has fine views over the Sussex countryside.

Opening Times: House: 15 Feb to 2 Nov, Daily 11:00-16:30, 3 Nov to 30 Dec, Daily 11:00-15:30. Closed 24-25 Dec. Please NT website for Garden & Estate opening times.
Admission: NT Members Free. See NT website for admission prices.
Child Friendly:  Children of all ages welcome
Dog Friendly: Dogs Permitted (Permitted on short leads in the formal gardens)
Location: Located 2 miles south of East Grinstead, signposted from town centre and B2110 (Turners Hill Road).
Facilities: Café, Children's trails, Coaches welcome, Free parking - 200yds, Gift shop, plants for sale, Limited disabled access to gardens and House, please check prior to visit
