Dating from the 14th century the house has been embellished by its many owners over the years. There is a medieval hall, Tudor staircase, a wealth of carved panelling and many later additions. The exceptional collections include porcelain, pictures and furniture, and reflect the history of the house. Set in 12 acres of gardens and surrounded by parkland. The great yew hedge encloses contrasting formal, wild Italian and walled gardens.

Location: From the M20 junction 9, follow the signposts for Ashford until 1st roundabout, then continue towards Lenham A20. Go straight over the next roundabout and turn left at Hare & Hounds pub on A20. Follow brown & white tourist signs.
