Set in the Cotswolds, Snowshill Manor House was extended in Elizabethan times by adding a floor above the hall. It contains Charles Paget Wade´s extraordinary collection of craftmanship and design. There are toys, musical instruments, clocks, weavers and spinners tools and a large collection of Japanese Samurai armour. Wade installed old panelling, barrel vaults and a maze of passages and the whole house is filled with curiosities. Due to ongoing conservation work, some items may not be available at all times. The small garden is laid out with ponds and terraces.
