Mannings Heath Golf Club (Waterfall)
The Waterfall is the original lay-out dating from 1905 - the second course is The Kingfisher opened in 1996 – both amid the rolling Sussex downs. The opening hole from an elevated tee in front of the 17th century clubhouse over a wooded valley provides a memorable start to the 6,683 yard journey. The 132-yard tenth Waterfall is the feature hole. But the fifth, Punchbowl, is another par three shooting from a high tee to the green below. There is a maturity and tranquillity about the course but the walking is tough so buggies are often preferred. A mixture of heathland, downland and parkland offers interesting variety.
