New Zealand Golf Club

Constructed on New Zealand Farm, as the first owner was an early emigrant, founded in 1895 and located within the famous Surrey heath belt, the under-used perfectly maintained and delightful uncrowded haven in the heather and birch trees spans 6,070 yards, par 68, but six of the par fours exceed 400 yards. Each par three presents its own challenge. Accuracy is essential and a full array of shots are needed. Most holes occupy their own private space giving a feeling of total tranquillity, not surprising considering there are only 300 members and few visitors. A pleasant, most enjoyable experience.
