Rotherham Golf Club
There are few clubs that can claim such a glorious location and clubhouse than Rotherham which is surrounded by beautiful parkland. Originally a nine hole course laid out by Sandy Herd, it was expanded to 18 in 1906 and it an exceptionally well laid out 6,327 yards par 70 course. The condition of the course is invariably impeccable and while it's not long it is tight and some of the greens are quite sloping. A nice downhill par four to start is followed by a good mix with the pick of the holes perhaps the par thee ninth.
