Moray Golf Club

Moray is considered to be one of the finest links courses in Scotland. The Old course designed by Old Tom Morris, it has deep revetted bunkers, gorse lined fairways and fast greens with seven par fours over 400 yards contributing to its 6,991 yard par 71 lay-out. The first tracks the shoreline and is followed by holes changing at varying angles - four of them over 400 yards and well bunkered. The Covesea Lighthouse dominates the 11th which is followed by another long par four, the second in another group of four 400 yard plus par fours and the short, but well bunkered 15th hugs the shoreline before the 423yard 18th with a string of bunkers on the left and out of bounds on the right - a great finishing hole. Henry Cotton's mark is undeniable on the shorter but tighter New course.
