Perhaps the finest of West Country architect Adrian Stiff’s collection of courses, opened in 1997 with an additional nine holes later constructed by Peter McEvoy. User-friendly, well-mounded with thickets and lakes, an easy walking par 70 course, ideal for societies off the yellow markers measuring 6,030 yards. The large lake serving the island green par three 11th and the short par-four 16th are unforgettable holes. The closing 198-yard 17th to a large sloping green and the dog leg 378-yard 18th with another lake to the right of a long narrow green in front of the imposing clubhouse demand total accuracy. Extensive practice facilities and academy holes and five PGA teaching professionals.

We are very used to looking after golfers at The Kendleshire and take pride in the number of players who return year after year. With 12 players or more, you will qualify for Society Status which guarantees your tee times. We prefer you to play in three-balls and to use the Stableford points system or some form of team golf. Under no circumstances is medal play allowable. Although handicap certificates are not compulsory we expect your last group to complete their round in four hours, which means that your players must be regular golfers. Please contact us for information, to check availability and to request a society information pack.
