Lanhydrock Golf Club
Lanhydrock is situated in a sheltered wooded valley in tranquil countryside and provides a complete golfing experience, with accommodation on site. Owned by the Bond family, of St Mellion fame, the 6,110 yard par 70 course has matured over the years. Parkland with generous tees and greens, easy walking with many natural water features. A testing start with a comfortable par four but a lake swallows an under hit second shot. The delightful par three 175-yard sixth is the feature, but the slightly uphill 495-yard 18th with water in play and a wicked sloping green can ruin a round. A fun 19th par-three hole alongside the clubhouse is perfect for play-offs.
