Austwick Hall garden

Set in the dramatic limestone scenery of the Dales National Park the gardens nestle into a steeply wooded hillside beneath Ingleborough. Herbaceous borders, close to the house, provide colour throughout the summer. Feature include a juniper walk, fern border leading to a moongate, heather thatched gazebo overlooking the pond in the jungle garden, pergola supported by Tuscan columns, newly planted shrubbery,and walled kitchen garden. In addition to the gardens there are ten acres of woodland with its sculpture trail. In February the ground is carpetted with snowdrops, of which there are over forty different varieties grown.
