Malleny Garden
Malleny is the garden to visit for a few hours of quiet contemplation around beautiful surroundings. Renowned for its flamboyant plantings of old fashioned roses arranged with an eye for pleasing colour combinations. A National Collection of 19th century Shrub Roses is housed here. This 3 acre walled garden is dominated by four magnificent clipped yew trees dating from the 17th century. The herbaceous borders are especially good even in late season. Enjoy the vegetable and herb garden, the Victorian greenhouse with its bold display of colour, and the surrounding area of woodland, which adds to the aura of shelter and seclusion.
