The RHS Garden at Harlow Carr is one of Yorkshire´s most relaxing yet inspiring locations, on the outskirts of the spa town of Harrogate. Featuring new Gardens through Time - seven fascinating gardens created to mark the bicentary of the RHS in 2004, and televised on BBC TWO. A beautiful and peaceful garden draws inspiration from the local scenery and stretches across 58 acres. Highlights include; streamside garden, contemporary herbaceous borders, scented, herb, kitchen and foliage gardens; woodland and wildflower meadow. Masses of events all year including outdoor theatre, festivals, workshops and children´s activities. Extensive RHS Shop and Plant Centre and Bettys Café Tea Rooms.

Location: Take the B6162 Otley road from the centre of Harrogate, towards Beckwithshaw. The garden is located approx one and a half miles on the right, just after the Pine Marten pub.
