Great Dixter is situated in Northiam. Turn off A28 at teh Post office and follow signposted route from the village.Website Description: ***Great Dixter is one of the most attractive and imaginative gardens in Britain. The 15th Century house is surrounded by an experimental, exciting and ever changing garden. On first sight, entering the front gate, there are two areas of meadows, either side of the path to the house. These, and a number of other similar areas scattered through the garden are not just plots of grass but contain a rich biodiversity of plants that includes orchids and wild flowers. The yew topiary gives structure to the garden and the complex and imaginative plantings contribute to the inspriational nature of the garden.
