Polesden Lacey garden
Polesden Lacey has a 30 acre garden spanning several centuries, with a long terrace walk offering fine views across the valley. The Edwardian walled garden is formally planted including yew hedges. The walled rose garden is divided into four squares sectioned by paths, sumptuous rambler roses smother the pergola and the eye-catching water tower is covered with an ancient Chinese wisteria. Paeonies, bearded irises and lavender beds lead to the winter garden with its sunken garden and modern herbaceous borders.
