Explore the wonderful gardens of Clandon Park

Explore the National Trusts effotts to save this beautiful property after the fire of 2015. Thankfully the garden remains unscathed by the fire offering you the chance to ramble up and down this lush hillside space (enjoy the view down to the shimmering lake) featuring a sunken Dutch garden full to the brim with brightly coloured flowers, small parterre garden, herbaceous border, grotto, and century-old Maori meeting house – the jewel in Clandon’s crown, brought over from New Zealand in 1892. Top tip: go when the weather warms up and you’ll be greeted with a mass of daffodils that erupt in springtime.
