Wallington garden

Wallington Garden, the original formality of Sir Walter Blackett“s 18th century landscape was influenced by Capability Brown. A simple grass terrace looks out over the landscape park, shrubberies and there are woodland circuit walks with semi-formal ponds, a wildlife hide, fine conifers and rhododendrons. Inside the egg-shaped walled garden are fine glasshouses, a sculpture terrace, a system of pools and some first-class colourful cottage gardening. Longer estate walks encompass wooded valleys and high moorland.
