Overbecks Garden

Exotic Overbecks Garden has dramatic coastal gardens with glorious views over Salcombe estuary. The warm microclimate encourages rare and tender plants producing a garden of hot colour from July through to September and luxuriant growth. This is an enthusiastic little garden, its steep terraces built in 1901, are stuffed with plants through which the visitor can wander - fuchsia trees, fruiting banana palms, angel´s trumpets, monster echiums, and spiky agaves, perfumed myrtles, an aromatic camphor tree, and a vast magnolia campbellii spectacular in February and March.
