What a fantastic place! Owner is an artist who has taken great care renovating this old building and putting her own artistic spin on the decor. You can buy the art on the walls if you so choose and there's also postcards, keyrings etc for sale. Great concept! The whole place feels luxurious with soft furnishings, plump pillows, soft lighting and complimentary toiletries. I also really appreciated basic facilities to make a meal (plates, cutlery, microwave) as I didn't want to eat out. Huge choice of breakfasts and it was all delicious. Mandy was a lovely host and I enjoyed meeting her dogs, although do bear in mind they are free to roam the house in case you are afraid of dogs.

Art Bank was the perfect spot to spend a few days. As soon as I stepped through the door, I knew I'd made the right choice, from the warmth of the welcome to the cleanliness, facilities, and room. I loved the fact that there was no issue whatsoever with me having my dog there. The breakfasts are SUPER generous; the atmosphere is relaxed; the rooms are a great size, and it's lovely to have the little kitchenette area. Faultless and would stay again. What's more, since I was travelling with my dog, it's brilliantly situated for forest or park walks. Dalbeattie, too, is charming, and the hosts simply excellent.

Anna

Lovely, homely stay in the Picasso room with our 2 kids. We could have stayed there for weeks and been happy - we didn't want to leave! Lots of space, colour, character, cosiness - every little detail thought of. A lovely warm welcome. And it was absolutely spotless as well. The breakfast - wow - it was so fun choosing what to have from the amazing choice! Very family friendly too.

Emma

Mandy was a fantastic host very warm and friendly and her sister Angela makes the best breakfast! Room and whole place was immaculate and well presented - lots of small details thought of and considered. Breakfast is amazing you will not leave hungry. We stayed in the Van Gough room and will definitely be booking again. Highly recommended and perfectly located

Martin
