Shell Bay Cottage is situated on a small secluded private estate overlooking Studland Bay and village - surrounded by National Trust land. The bed and breakfast accommodation comprises one double/twin/triple/family room plus a ground floor double/twin bedded room. Both have private bathrooms, central heating, remote control colour TV/DVD, tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryer, clock radio and internet Wi-Fi. Both have beautiful sea views. There is ample off-road parking.
We are only a 10 minute walk from the beach and amenities in the village, where the Bankes Arms pub and Manor House Hotel serve bar meals, dinner, cream teas etc. There is also a selection of beach cafes that serve food all day. Swanage is 3 miles away and has a varied choice of restaurants, entertainment and amenities. Bournemouth and Poole, with their many attractions are just 9 miles away across the Sandbanks Ferry. There are many attractions to visit on the Isle of Purbeck and surrounding Dorset countryside. Numerous nature reserves, historic buildings and places of interest. Horse riding, including beach rides, can be organised at Studland Stables and the Isle of Purbeck Golf Club is just outside the village.
